Signing in to 香港大作戰 · Hong Kong · Survival with Google, Apple, Game Center or Play Games creates an account that holds your progress. You can delete that account, and everything stored with it, at any time. There are two ways to do it and they remove exactly the same things.
1. In the game (fastest)
If you still have the game installed, this takes about ten seconds and happens immediately:
- Open the game and go to the main menu.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account, at the bottom of the panel.
- Confirm twice. You may be asked to sign in once more — this is your sign-in provider confirming it is really you, and the deletion completes straight after it.
Your account and every record listed below are erased the moment the second confirmation goes through. Nothing is held in a recycle bin and nothing can be restored afterwards.
2. By email (no app needed)
If you have already uninstalled the game, or cannot sign in, send us a deletion request instead. You do not need to reinstall anything.
So that we can find the right account and be sure it is yours, please tell us:
- which sign-in you used (Google, Apple, Game Center or Play Games);
- the email address or player name attached to that sign-in;
- your in-game display name, if you remember it.
We answer to confirm within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity.
What is deleted
Both routes delete all of the following, from our servers and from your device:

What we keep, and for how long
Three things are not covered by the deletion above. We would rather name them than leave them out:

| Anonymous analytics and crash diagnostics already collected — frame rates, crash stacks, which map was played. These carry an account identifier while the account exists; once it is deleted there is nothing left to connect them to you. | Up to 14 months, then deleted automatically. | A record that a purchase was made — the store, the transaction number, the pack and the date. Your account is removed from it, so it is no longer linked to you, but the record itself is kept: it is what stops the same store receipt being used to claim the same purchase twice, and it is a financial record we are required to retain. | Kept indefinitely, with your account removed from it immediately. |
| Downloaded map packs on your device — the Hong Kong 3D tile data. These are map geometry, not personal data, and hold nothing about you. | Until you remove them in Map Downloads, or uninstall the app. |
If you want the analytics and crash records removed too, say so in your email and we will delete them with the account.
Things worth knowing before you delete
- It cannot be undone. There is no backup to restore from. Signing in again with the same Google or Apple account afterwards creates a brand new, empty account.
- Deleting the game does not delete the account. Uninstalling removes the app and the local copy, but the account and its records stay on the server until you use one of the two routes above.
- Your sign-in account is untouched. We only remove the link to it. Your Google, Apple, Game Center or Play Games account itself is not affected in any way.
